SUMMARY:Backpack & School Supply Volunteer Event
DESCRIPTION:JOIN US to help fill backpacks with essential school supplies for under resourced children so they can have a successful school year!! \n\n\n\nCHARITY: Heart House\, Genesis Women’s Shelter\, Isaiah117 House\, and disadvantaged kids identified by local school counselors (thank you Kid’s Matter) \n\n\n\nWHY: To empower children from low income families and help them start their school year strong and confidently\, just like their peers!  Today’s kids are tomorrow’s leaders..we want to give ALL kids the tools to rise to their full potential! \n\n\n\nSERVICE HOURS: 2 service hours\, plus an extra hour if you come 30 minutes before and after to help set up/clean up. \n\n\n\nWHO:  All are welcome! Children are welcome with a parent/guardian; high school students may attend alone.  \n\n\n\nHow you can help: \n\n\n\n\nSign up and bring the items you have signed up for OR\n\n\n\nDonate towards the items and we will shop for you! (suggested $10)\n\n\n\nItem donation is optional!  We welcome your donation of time with or without items!
