SUMMARY:Color Me SAFE Foundation x C2L Volunteer Event for Child Abuse Prevention Month
DESCRIPTION:A SPECIAL COLLABORATION BETWEEN COLOR ME SAFE FOUNDATION  AND CHARITIES2LOVE TO VOLUNTEER FOR\, SUPPORT\, AND BRING AWARENESS TO CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH!! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCharities Supported:  Heart House\, New Horizons of North Texas\, Jonathan’s Place\, Isaiah117House\, Cards for Cubs\, and CASA of Tarrant County \n\n\n\nCAUSE:  Children 13 and under in crisis: in foster care\, refugees\, immigrants\, under-resourced. \n\n\n\nWHY:  We will make “Hugs of Hope” Bags to bring a smile and send love to children placed in difficult situations\, through no fault of their own. \n\n\n\nSERVICE HOURS: 2 service hours\, plus an extra hour if you come 30 minutes before and after to help set up/clean up. \n\n\n\nChildren are welcome with a parent/guardian; high school students may attend alone.  \n\n\n\nPlease sign up below to attend & bring items. C2L and CMS Foundation will provide the bags – WE NEED YOUR HELP to fill them!

SUMMARY:Winter Care Packages for the Homeless: Join Us!
DESCRIPTION:Let’s make Winter Care Packages and Snack Bags for the Unhoused \n\n\n\nCHARITY: Distributed to many local nonprofits that serve those experiencing homelessness. \n\n\n\nWHY: Provide warmth and kindness to those experiencing homelessness.  \n\n\n\nWHO: All ages. Children are welcome with a parent/guardian; high school students may attend alone. \n\n\n\nWHEN: 10:30am – 12:30pm \n\n\n\nSERVICE HOURS: 2 service hours\, plus an extra hour if you come 30 minutes before & after for set up/clean up. \n\n\n\n In this volunteering you will: \n\n\n\n\nMake a care package that includes:  a pair of gloves\, beanie\, socks\, a blanket\, hand warmers\, toiletries\, a note\, and hand sanitizer.\n\n\n\nMake snack bags with several snacks\, a note and a drink\n\n\n\nWrite out handwritten notes to add to our care packages and snack bags.\n\n\n\nLearn about the nonprofits that support the unhoused and how you can support them\n\n\n\nEach family can take a care package to distribute to an unhoused neighbor you may see\n\n\n\n\nOther Ways You Can Support this Event (optional): \n\n\n\n\nBring some shelf-stable snacks/water bottles to add to the snack bags. \n\n\n\nSponsor a care package for $15!  For each package you sponsor\, you will receive a raffle ticket which will be entered into a drawing for prizes (must be present to win).\n\nZelle your cash donation to us (donation@charities2love.org) or purchase raffle tickets by credit card \n\n\n\nYour donation is tax deductible!  Please send an email to us if you would like a receipt.\n\n\n\n\n\nSponsor one of the items for all of the care packages (blankets/hats/gloves\, etc.)– please contact us.\n\n\n\n\n**Please wear your Charities2Love Shirt if you have one!  Additional shirts are available for a $10 donation** \n\n\n\nThank you for your generosity for those experiencing homelessness who will use and appreciate your gift of time and donations during the brutal winter months!

DESCRIPTION:Let’s start 2025 and lend a hand for hunger! Volunteer on MLK National Public Day of Service for a short but impactful few hours at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC)!
