DESCRIPTION:CHARITY:  Kid’s Matter  \n\n\n\nCAUSE: Helping Disadvantaged Children identified by Kid’s Matter with their school shopping needs at KOHL’s in ARLINGTON (5410 S Cooper St\, Arlington\, TX 76017) \n\n\n\nWHY: To provide an opportunity for all kids to have new clothes\, shoes\, books and other necessities and have a great school year! \n\n\n\nDATE & TIME:  Saturday\, November 15th from 8:30am – 11 am \n\n\n\nSERVICE HOURS:  2.5 hours from Charities2Love \n\n\n\nDuring this volunteering activity: \n\n\n\n\nCheck in via QR Code with our Team Leads (Manan and Siya Attit)\n\n\n\nVolunteers will be doing a variety of tasks\, including taking the kids shopping to spend their $100 gift card\, staying within budget\, and helping them select shoes/books at select tables.  \n\n\n\nChildren 11+ are welcome to participate with a parent/guardian; high school students 16+ may attend alone.\n\n\n\nUpon check-in at the event\, you will receive a t-shirt from Kid’s Matter!  \n\n\n\nDetailed instructions will be given prior to your shift so please arrive on time\n\n\n\n\nThis is a huge and fun program by Kids Matter that directly helps kids in our community! Many volunteers are needed to make it successful. Please sign up each individual volunteer below to attend!

We invite you to honor her legacy through hands-on service and community action. Your time is the greatest tribute we can offer to her memory and to the survivors who need us most. \n\n\n\nCHARITY: Hagar’s Heart (HH) \n\n\n\nCAUSE:  Helping women in shelters who are survivors of domestic violence regain their self-worth by putting together “I SEE YOU” Boxes \n\n\n\nWHY:  The “I SEE YOU” Box is packed with specifically chosen self-care items to bring a message of: You are seen\, worthy\, loved\, and deserve a new beginning.  The I SEE YOU Box is delivered monthly to their domestic violence shelter partners throughout the DFW area. \n\n\n\nSERVICE HOURS: 2 service hours \n\n\n\nPlease sign up below to attend!
