Pause for a Cause, in Memory of Hema Shah

September 26 @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm

This year, our Domestic Violence Awareness Month efforts are dedicated to Hema Shah, our founder’s beloved cousin sister, who was deeply committed to supporting those seeking safety and hope.

Hema lived with a heart full of compassion for all. While hers was a life lost too soon due to acute liver failure, we choose to celebrate her passion by showing up for the cause she held dear. We invite you to honor her legacy through hands-on service and community action. Your time is the greatest tribute we can offer to her memory and to the survivors who need us most.

CHARITY: Hagar’s Heart (HH)

CAUSE:  Helping women in shelters who are survivors of domestic violence regain their self-worth by putting together “I SEE YOU” Boxes

WHY:  The “I SEE YOU” Box is packed with specifically chosen self-care items to bring a message of: You are seen, worthy, loved, and deserve a new beginning.  The I SEE YOU Box is delivered monthly to their domestic violence shelter partners throughout the DFW area.

SERVICE HOURS: 2 service hours

Please sign up below to attend! Children are welcome with a parent/guardian; high school students may attend alone.
