How it Works

  1. Select a Project: Browse the categories & choose a cause that inspires you.
  2. Follow the Guidelines: Click the “View PDF Guidelines” link under your chosen project for specific assembly and instructions.
  3. Fill out Virtual Volunteer Form: Once you have decided on your project, fill out the form with the details)
  4. Be sure to take pictures to share with us!
  5. Ship or Drop Off:
    • DFW Locals: Contact us to coordinate drop-off.
    • Outside DFW: Mail your completed items (address in the virtual volunteer form).

📦 Assembly & Kits

Best for: Groups and families. Focuses on gathering and organizing essential items.


Cause: Those experiencing Homelessness

Charities: Local nonprofits that serve the unhoused, such as: Under My Umbrella, Caring Compassionate Hearts Helping Hands, Grand Prairie Homeless Outreach Organization, FW Five Loaves Two Fish, Our Calling, The Stewpot, The Last Patrol
Activity: Create snack bags
Time: Ongoing
Ages: All ages

Support those experiencing homelessness year round! Students can get volunteer hours while making snack bags at home-follow the detailed guidelines including notecards. Read the details in the sign up.

Cause: Babies in need

Charity: Hope Supply Co.
Activity: Create hygiene kits for babies
Time: Ongoing
Ages: All ages

Give hope to an underserved family by creating baby hygiene kits at home! Follow all instructions on Hope Supply Co.’s flyer in order to receive hours.

Cause: Children in need

Charity: Hope Supply Co.
Activity: Create birthday boxes for underserved children
Time: Ongoing
Ages: All ages

Your generous volunteer efforts will bring joy to a child in the DFW area on their birthday! Follow all instructions on Hope Supply Co.’s flyer in order to receive hours.

Cause: Families in need

Charity: Lovepacs
Time: Ongoing
Activity: Create an essentials kit for a family in need
Ages: All ages

Give hope to an underserved family by creating any of these “essentials kits” at home! Follow all instructions on the flyer and include the necessary items in order to receive hours.

Service Hours: 10 kits (you can mix and match kits) = 2 hours

✍️ Crafting Cards

Cause: Those experiencing Homelessness-handwrite uplifting and encouraging cards

Charity: Distributed to many nonprofits throughout the DFW area that serve those experiencing homelessness
Time: Ongoing
Activity: Create handmade cards
Ages: All ages

Please click on the Guidelines for Writing Cards and follow the detailed instructions on what to write! We have heard from many nonprofits that these cards are carried and cherished, so know that your time and effort do make a difference!

🎨 Creative & Handmade

Cause: Foster Children

Charity: Isaiah117 House and other nonprofits that serve foster children
Activity: Create handmade bracelets
Time: Ongoing
Ages: All ages

Cause: Survivors in Domestic Violence Shelters

Charity: Hagar’s Heart
Activity: Create handmade bracelets
Time: Ongoing
Ages: All ages

Cause: Underserved Communities & Those experiencing Homelessness

Charities: Local nonprofits that serve the unhoused, such as: Under My Umbrella, Caring Compassionate Hearts Helping Hands, Grand Prairie Homeless Outreach Organization, FW Five Loaves Two Fish, Our Calling, The Stewpot, The Last Patrol
Activity: Create WINTER snack bags (will be stored for the next winter)
Time: October – March 
Ages: All ages

Support underserved communities and those experiencing homelessness through the winter months! Students can get volunteer hours while making snack bags at home-follow the detailed guidelines including notecards. Read the details in the sign up.

💻 Online & Digital

Cause: Children with Cancer

Charity: St. Jude’s
Time: Ongoing
Location: online
Ages: All ages (children with parent’s permission)

Send a free, online card to a hospitalized patient at St. Jude’s Hospital! Personalize your card (English or Spanish) and send hope and love to a child with cancer.
