WHAT THEY DO
Partner with 8 domestic violence organizations in North Texas.
Connect with survivors, through affirming words & encouraging support so they feel seen, worthy, and loved.
Advocate self-care support & social-emotional wellness. They believe self-care is not a luxury, but a priority easily forgotten. Their hope is each item reminds each survivor to take time for self-care.
HOW THEY DO IT
Deliver 200+ “I See You” boxes monthly to their partner domestic violence shelters across North Texas.
Send handwritten letters of affirmation & encouragement through their HH Letter Campaign. The letter is addressed “Dear Friend” to show we do not have to know each other to care for one another.
Host yearly events that promote opportunities for survivors to feel valued: Women’s Day Brunch, Santa’s Shack, HH Pop Up Shop, and Read. Relax. Renew.

Volunteer in shelters across the DFW Area. Address is given when volunteers sign up.
Minimum age varies upon opportunity: 10 yrs old-pack boxes & write letters; 16 yrs old with a guardian or 18 yrs old to volunteer at a shelter

Help with 3rd Saturday of the month packing at their office in Pantego, TX or Volunteer at their monthly DFW events
*Virtually* help write handwritten letters sharing hope, love, & positive affirmations to the recipient (templates provided)

Donate to their 120 Club, which supports buying ethnic haircare and packs of underwear monthly
Donate or Sponsor their “Carry the Joy” Fundraiser in April; donate items to their silent and live auction.
