WHAT THEY DO
- Neighbor Outreach: provide hot meals, shelf-stable meals, hygiene, clothing & supplies to 50-100 of the unsheltered every week
- Holiday Outreach: provide mini Christmas trees & menorahs to seniors, family shelters, and the unsheltered during the holidays
- Rainy Day Program: fill the gaps for those who need immediate help
HOW THEY DO IT
By rallying the community and encouraging individuals and small businesses to contribute what they can: financial, resources, or expertise.
Collaboration with adults, children, and businesses that want to help and finding ways for them to make a difference.

Youth volunteers get service hours
Certified for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) Program for K-12 grade students and beyond
VOLUNTEER
Schedules change in the summer vs. school year (contact them to confirm):
- 1st Wednesday of the month distribution in South Dallas 12:30pm – 2:30pm
- Tuesday distributions 12:30pm -2:30pm (summer) or 6pm – 7pm (school year) in Dallas and the surrounding areas
- Weekend prep: making snack packs, sorting donations, inventory
other ways to help
Save and collect needed items used in distributions, such as plastic utensil packs that come in takeout containers
Help with items needed for inclement weather distributions (severe heat, cold, or heavy rains)
Help them fundraise for much needed on-site storage for donated items
