Promote sustainability and South Asian fashion by facilitating the thrifting of gently used sarees and ethnic wear for the whole family
Provide micro grants to other local, small non-profits that are focused on helping and uplifting the local community anywhere in the United States
HOW THEY DO IT
Sustainability: Collect donations from the community to prevent the clothing from going to landfills
Sell the collected donations to customers as they shop on PIN’s 2 private platforms on Facebook @Sareestrong and @Sustainable Fashions. These funds are used for grants.
Give back: Use the funds from their platforms to support grants to other local small nonprofits that have a community service mission in the United States

Certified for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) Program for K-12 grade students and beyond
